Clarinet openings now!!
Our 40 member community band will perform a concert to celebrate music from around the world. The concert will start with A Disney Fantasy to bring us through the world of Disney Classic movies. Our saxophone section will be featured on a swinging Night in Tunisia and there will be the trumpet solo Come Back to Sorrento. We will travel to Europe for the Belgian Parachutist March and the music from Winchester Cathedral. The band will play the Leroy Anderson Portrait which includes Serenata, Syncopated Clock, Blue Tango and Buglar’s Holiday. Janna Braun will sing The Girl from Ipanema and The Sunny Side of the Street. There will also be the Spanish paso doble Sol Y Sombra and music the land of OZ. The show will conclude with the dramatic arrangement of music from Bond, James Bond.
This will be the 2023-24 season finally concert and last performance for our long serving conduct John Monachan as he retires to move on to other adventures.
It is a not to be missed performance of the newest concert band in
Southwest Florida. We hope to see you there.
