Into the West

A celebraton of western style music

 

South Fort Myers High School auditorium

14020 Plantation Rd.

 

Some people find our auditorium cool. We recommend to bring a sweater.

 

 

Join the band as they mount up and ride the PonyExpress with Across the Great Plains. The group will perform familiar selections from the Broadway hit Oklahoma, and the dramatic western overture Southwest Saga.  will have some music to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and some memorable Tijuana Brass songs.                                                                                

The group will play an exciting and fun piece called the Great Locomotive Chase the Brass Monkeys quintet will ride in with some familiar western movie tunes. And even some Willie Nelson songs to tap your toe to.  

The show will conclude with a dynamic arrangement of music from the film Silverado.

 

All concerts are FREE with donations accepted.

A Voyage into Space.

Bob Helfrich will sing Star Dust and Moon River and the band will play space themed music from Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Come Fly with Me and When You Wish Upon a Star. Hear Mars from the Planets, a little Klezmer and a Valentines love song.

Into the West

This will be a celebration of music inspired by the west like Silverado and Southwest Saga. Hear the memorable tunes from Oklahoma! and some Willie Neson songs. The band will also play some St. Patrick's Day music for some uplifting spring music.

All About the Blues

This will be a concert featuring music with Blue in its name. From Blue Tango to Wildcat Blues Clarinet to Old Blue Eyes (Sinatra) to the Blues Brothers it will include a wide variety of music that will entertain everyone. Even a Tuba solo, Tuba Tiger Rag, and some music from the Broadway hit Chicago.
